Search for words in the Search Box at the top left of the screen. Make sure you select the language of the word you want to find.

You can also search for numbers from 0 to 999999. Simply type in the numeral (e.g. 2318).

When you begin to type, suggestions appear beneath the Search Box (providing your browser supports this function). You can use small or capital letters.

Use the Enter key or click on the button next to the Search Box to start searching. If a Luxemburgish search word is unambiguous, the entry is displayed immediately, otherwise a list of possible entries is displayed.

If you are searching for a German, French, English or Portuguese word, a list is displayed of the entries in which the word appears as part of a translation.

Use the Language Menu to change the language of the translations and explanations.

Click on words in the examples and synonyms to look them up.

Click the Table Button to see a table of the word forms. Click on the Sound Button to hear the word spoken.
